This is a vintage original script from the 1990's television softcore drama series,
RED SHOE DIARIES
. The story is entitled
Call Me/Phone Sex
, and no writer is credited on the script, which is dated September 8, 1993. We could not locate a produced episode with this title, so the title was either changed, or this episode was never film or was shelved. It consists of 27 pages on white stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between a bright red cardstock front and back cover. It is complete in overall very fine condition without any missing pages, tears, stains, or other flaws.The front cover, which was printed on a glossy stock, exhibits scratches and signs of wear on the corners.
We are selling this as a vintage original script and not a copy script; however, you can see the heading from a fax machine on the top of many of the pages, and some of the "(continued)" on the bottom of the pages was handwritten. Our belief is that these scripts were produced very cheaply and this is a real script and not a photocopy.
Red Shoe Diaries
is an American anthology erotic drama series that aired on Showtime cable network from 1992 to 1997 and distributed by Playboy Entertainment overseas. It is a spinoff of an earlier film by the same name, also directed by Zalman King. Most episodes were directed by either Zalman King, Rafael Eisenman, or both. The story-lines usually have a thin plot revolving around some intrigue and the sexual awakening of a girl or woman who often also narrates. Sensuous love scenes with nudity as well as sultry, moody music are characteristic for most episodes. There is no story arc or characters connecting the different stories other than Jake Winters introducing each episode.
