    Description

    Vintage original First Draft script
from the 1950's/1960's private eye crime drama/mystery television series,
    PHILIP MARLOWE
, produced by Bilmar Productions for broadcast on ABC.
Based upon the famous character created by Raymond Chandler
, it is for an episode entitled
    The High Price of Pallbearers
, written by Martin M. Goldsmith, and is undated. It consists of 35 pages on white stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between a light tan cardstock front and back cover. It is in very fine condition
    with
a light vertical crease on the front cover to the right of the brass
. The name "Amy" was handwritten in red ink on
the front cover and there is a character also named "Amy" in this episode, so, presumably, this script (#6 as indicated in the top right corner) was issued to the actress who portrayed that character. There are no missing pages, tears, stains, or other flaws.
PLEASE NOTE that we could not locate an episode with this title, as the series only ran for two seasons (1959-60). The very first episode (
    The Ugly Duckling
) was broadcast on October 6, 1959 and this First Draft script is undated.
