Pink Monticello by Steubenville Set of 9 demitasse cups & saucers Rare VGC 1950s

Description

Monticello by Steubenville set of 9 demitasse cups and saucers.  Great for display, espresso, or chocolate.
The cups are pink with flowers inside.
The flowers are pink roses, yellow, and blue other types of flowers. The cups have gold bands inside the cup and on the outside bowl and between the bowl and the foot. They also have a band of gold laurels around the outside. There is gold on both sides of the handle and a gold flower pattern on the handle. Between the top two bands of gold there is a band of decorative bumps (I don't know the proper term.) The foot has decorative marks around it.  The cup measures 2 5/8 inches across the opening (not including the handle.)
The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches. It is pink with a gold rim, a band of the bumps, a band of gold laurels, an inside band of gold. Inside the inner band is white where the cup sits.
This set is impressive for its age. The is very limited to no gold loss on the pieces.
One cup has some discoloration on the bottom of the side of a cup and slight crazing on the foot. This is shown in the last picture.
The pattern should date to around 1940 according to the design patent number, they may have been produced in the 1950s. Made in the USA.
